Hockey Club Web Services Online Player Registration
-
Online registration – All data would be captured in to a MS Access
database. The following fields would be captured:
-
Level (All Star
or House)
-
Division (Mite,
Squirt, etc.)
-
Mother’s Address

-
Member type
(player or coach)
- We
can add any other data field you wish to capture during the registration
process.
-
Provide any reports you wish, both online (live data) as well as emailed
reports. We could set up a “Data Warehouse” that could have limited secure
access with pre-defined reports such as (but not limited to) team rosters
with address, phone, parent’s names, etc. We can also provide a
password-protected online club directory of all players.
-
Team Rosters
-
Keep data clean by removing duplicates and modifying user-entry errors
-
Provide the registrar with an imported active player list for USA Hockey’s
CyberSport
-
Transmit AHAI’s data as needed using their “Web Tool”
-
Windows web server is required
-
Provide a data file for a printed Club Directory
Online Payments
-
After a player is assigned to a team, we could create a payment grid (sample
from Winnetka’s site) that would allow parents to
securely pay by credit card.
Should you wish, we could make those wanting to make installments (usually
3) automatically have their credit card charged 60 days after the first
payment, then 60 days after that. This eliminates the need to “chase”
money. Any elapsed time (or frequency) could work such as 45 days.
- We
would need to get set up with a credit card company that can process the
payments. Please note that all credit card processing services charge
2-3%
for their services. If you consider the time and effort involved in
handling paper checks, it makes sense to use a credit card system. Funds
would be available virtually immediately.
- We
would also handle any “recurring charge” issues with the credit card charges
by contacting the cardholder directly. This could include:
-
Expired cards
-
Lost or stolen cards
-
Declined charges
-
Provide the registrar (or show them how) with updates of who has paid for
pre-season clinics and tryouts.
-
Optional weekly updates of who has paid.
-
The ability to offer apparel or any other items online.
Complete web management…all of the above plus
-
Interactive calendar system that will allow parents and coaches to email and
download calendar event information. It can also send email reminders and
changes in events amongst many other functions. Each team could have their
own calendar that can easily be managed by the team manager. Instructions
on its use would be posted on the password-protected “Manager’s Page”.
(Additional charge by 3rd party)
